About the Authors
Matthew Lou graduated with a BBA First Class Honours (Beta Gamma Sigma), majoring in Marketing, from the NUS Business School, National University of Singapore, in 2007. After graduation, he pursued a career with the Singapore Public Service for more than four years. In 2009, Matthew began to take an interest in fitness and weight loss. He participated in Manhunt Singapore 2010, in which he won the 'Executive Look' title. In 2012, he became a qualified Fitness Leader and Personal Trainer with Singapore's Federation of International Sports, Aerobics and Fitness (FISAF). Matthew recently left his consulting job with a leading Asian airport investment company to further his interest in fitness and writing.
Dr Frederick Ee graduated with an MBBS from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, in 2006. He is currently working as a General Practitioner, and has a strong interest in weight management. Frederick has done various postings in hospitals and polyclinics, with exposure to Psychiatry, Geriatrics, Respiratory Medicine, Emergency Medicine and General Practice. He has seen great success in fighting weight issues, and is currently progressing in his personal journey of transformation.
