Synopsis
What does it mean to live a life surrendered to Christ? Does it require giving up comforts or possessions? Is there a biblical model we can follow?Best-selling author, Dr Lee Yonggyu, missionary to Mongolia and many other countries, answers these questions in Surrender: The Happiest Decision of My Life. His Korean publication sold over 760,000 copies. Now, this English translation brings his much-needed message to Western Christianity. Surrender tells the lessons Dr Lee learned as he sought to obey God on the mission field. After his graduation from Harvard in America, he and his family dedicated two years to missions. Two years turned into eight as he pastored Jireh Church in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, and served as Vice-President of Mongolia International University, a Christian-founded school. Through sharing his experiences, Dr Lee hopes to challenge and encourage believers around the globe to serve wholeheartedly. He wants Christians to know how God works through those who crucify their lives in Christ. He says, After we surrender our rights, we receive a satisfying inner peace and freedom from heaven.
