About the Author

Lisa Ong is a trained teacher of Literature in English and English as First Language. She holds a B.A. in English from the National University of Singapore and a Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education, Singapore. In her 30 years of classroom engagement, she has guided English Language learners from a wide range of language proficiency to build confidence and attain success in listening, reading, speaking and writing. Her experience in preparing students for national exams, drama performances, speech competitions and international essay contests has enriched her understanding of language learning and mastery from the student's perspective.
