About the Author and Illustrator
Lynette Morrison has a PhD in Film Studies, and lectured at universities in the UK and in Singapore for more than 12 years. She is a mother of three young children, who inspired her to begin writing creatively. She is passionate about writing for children, creating stories that excite the imagination, encourage reading and help build a firm moral foundation.
Lee Kowling is a children's book illustrator from Singapore. She is a mother of a girl and a boy who love to read. Kowling has illustrated more than 30 children's books and has worked with major publishers such as Times, MPH, Federal and Landmark Books. A designer by training, Kowling is much sought after for her water-colour paintings for children's books. She has won accolades from book reviewers for her artistic and creative contribution to the works of well-known authors such as Jessie Wee, Suchen Christine Lim, Adeline Foo and John Bittleston.
