About the Author
Sim Siong Chye was born and grew up in Katong, Singapore. Upon graduation from the National University of Singapore, he worked briefly at a Japanese shipyard before joining Singapore's Foreign Service in 1993. He has completed two postings in China and Myanmar, and is currently serving in Australia. Once Bitten, Never Shy is the author's first travelogue.
