About the Author
Kua Ee Heok is a Professor and Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He heads the Department of Psychological Medicine, National University of Singapore, and was also the CEO and Medical Director, Institute of Mental Health, Singapore from 2000-2002. He graduated as a doctor from the University of Malaya in 1973 and had postgraduate training in psychiatry at Oxford University, England, and Harvard University, USA. He has written numerous scientific publications on ageing, schizophrenia and alcoholism.
