About the Author
Kua Ee Heok is a Professor and Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He graduated as a doctor from the University of Malaya in 1973 and had postgraduate training in psychiatry at Oxford University, England, and Harvard University, USA. He headed the Department of Psychological Medicine, NUS, from 1994-2002, and was also the CEO and Medical Director, Institute of Mental Health, Singapore, from 2000-2002. He has written numerous scientific publications on ageing, schizophrenia and addiction.
