Born and raised in Singapore, Sheri Tan is a long-time children’s book editor and writer. After graduating from Mills College in Oakland, California, she followed her passion for books and moved to New York City to pursue a career in book publishing. Sheri has worked at Random House, HarperCollins, and Simon & Schuster, and has written a number of books, including early readers based on popular licenses such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer. She is also the author of the Girl Overboard! chapter book series. She currently lives with her family in Queens, New York.
