Currently, Dr Mak is an adjunct Associate Professor of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Visiting Associate Professor of the Nanyang Technological University. He is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, American College of Physicians, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and American College of Cardiology.
